Licence

Last updated 6 October 2026

When you buy a template you are buying a licence to use it, not the design itself. This page explains that licence in plain language.

One purchase, one website

Each purchase gives you a licence to build one website (one "end product") with the template. That website can be your own or one you build for a single client.

If you want to use the same template for another website, you need another licence. For several sites, contact us about an agency licence.

What you can do

  • Use the template for a personal or commercial website.
  • Change anything: code, design, copy, images and structure.
  • Build a website for one client and charge them for your work. The licence then passes to that client.
  • Keep using the template for that website for as long as you like. The licence does not expire.

What you cannot do

  • Resell, share, give away or sublicense the template or its source code, modified or not.
  • Offer it as a template, theme, starter kit or site builder that other people can build their own sites from.
  • Use one licence for more than one website.
  • Publish the source code where others can download it, for example in a public repository.
  • Claim the original design as your own for sale or for design awards.

Demo content

The brands, people, figures and reviews in the demos are fictional and are placeholders for your own content.

Demo photographs are placeholders from Unsplash and are covered by the Unsplash licence, not by ours. Replace them with your own images before you launch.

Third-party software

Templates use open-source and freely licensed software, including Next.js, React, GSAP and Lenis, and fonts from Google Fonts. Each remains under its own licence, and you are responsible for following those terms.

Ownership

Core Concepts keeps all rights to the original template. You own the content you add and the website you make with it.

If the licence is broken

If you use a template in a way this licence does not allow, the licence ends and you must stop using the template. We would always rather sort it out by email first.
